Diurnal

... can mean 'daily' in the sense of something that happens every day, or it can mean 'by day' in the sense of something that happens in the daytime as opposed to the night–time (as the opposite of 'nocturnal'). As a noun, it can also mean a service book containing offices for the daily hours of prayer, a diary, or a daily newspaper (the last two meanings are archaic).
